I pray for the souls in purgatory with the St Gertrude prayer...once they get to Heaven... hopefully they will pray for me!

I pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and "repair" their failed acts. One can do this living in the Divine Will. I say: "Lord, I pray and repair in you all the sins that my brothers and sisters in purgatory did while on earth. I return them to you in order that you divinize and make holy their poor acts so our Heavenly Father may be glorified as he should have been if they didn't sin. We need to remember, Jesus did every single person's life's acts perfectly in order to make reparation for every single act they did imperfectly/sinned.

In addition to praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, I've taken your advice to add prayers for the priests/deacons in purgatory by name (using the ORDO book) each time I go to mass and when I pray the rosary or novena to the holy souls. I will definitely appreciate their prayers for me when I die too.

If you liked "23 min in Hell by Bill Wiese" read "Struck by Lightening by Gloria Polo." I read both and they scared me to death! I was a lukewarm Catholic before, praying and church whenever. After, I set aside time to pray and attend church when my health is good. I highly recommend both books!

I have a dear relative who has an auto immune disease (MS) come upon her. I am unworthy and a sinner. So I ask, not for me , Our Lady Of Knock, but for her healing that she may be able to care for herself and her daughter. I usually don't ask in prayer for myself so much, I am not a big prayer asker. But if my cousin is healed then I shall prayer more. Been Reading about St Gemma Galgani as well. Maybe I pray to her also.
